gnome-orca software package provides Scriptable screen reader, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install gnome-orca
gnome-orca is installed in your system.
Make ensure the gnome-orca package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gnome-orca *
You will get with gnome-orca package name, version, architecture and description in a table
